Lauren Marquez
Director of Educational Technology

Lauren Marquez is the Director of Educational Technology at Saint Mary’s School, where she leads the strategic integration of academic technology, digital systems, and data-driven instructional design. She began her career as a STEM classroom teacher known for making complex science concepts accessible through hands-on, tech-enabled learning. Over time, her role expanded from leveraging tools in her own classroom to designing systems and workflows that support an entire school community.

Today, Lauren oversees a broad ecosystem of platforms—including Canvas, Veracross, REACH, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, and leads the Technology Prefect program—and works at the intersection of academics, operations, and technology strategy. Her work focuses on optimizing digital infrastructure, elevating digital literacy, and designing future-ready learning experiences that empower both students and teachers in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Lauren now draws on both her instructional roots and her systems expertise to bridge the gap between what schools want to achieve and the technology that makes it possible. Known for her systems thinking, collaborative leadership, and student-centered approach, Lauren is passionate about using technology and instructional design to enhance teaching, empower students, and help Saint Mary’s prepare young women for the increasingly digital and interconnected world ahead.
