Schools are facing a new wave of challenges: rapidly evolving AI tools in classrooms, tightening privacy regulations, and ever-present cybersecurity threats. To help schools navigate this complex landscape with confidence, ATLIS and 9ine have partnered to bring you two powerful professional development programs: the AI & Privacy Academy and the Tech Academy.

In this live info session, you’ll discover how these academies equip school leaders, Data Protection Officers, and technology teams with the knowledge, tools, and hands-on guidance to build resilient, compliant, and future-ready schools.

Takeaways

  • Collaborative Learning

The Academies offer a professional development experience designed around cohorts of ATLIS members, fostering peer networking, collaboration, and shared best practices for tackling common challenges in independent schools.

  • Dual Focus on Privacy & AI and Tech

The program is divided into a Privacy & AI Academy, focusing on data protection, legal compliance, risk analysis (including vendor and AI ethics), and a Tech Academy, emphasizing cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technical implementation projects.

  • Hands-on, Certified Training

The academies are CPD certified, offering structured, year-long learning with expert-led courses, real-world case studies, and interactive learning, resulting in official, recognized professional development credentials.

  • Addressing Vendor Risk

A major theme is the growing threat of third-party/vendor-related cyberattacks and data breaches, with a specific module dedicated to evaluating vendor compliance and managing associated risks for EdTech and AI-enabled platforms.

  • Practical Resources via 9ine Platform

Academy participants gain access to the 9ine platform's resources, including training videos, policy templates, and tools for compliance, risk assessments, and vendor assessments, which support daily department management.
