Kevin Warenda is an IT Professional whose passion is helping people solve complex problems with technology. Kevin has over two decades of experience in technical, consulting, and leadership roles in Higher Education, Public K-12, and independent schools. He also works with other non-profit and public sector organizations. Kevin holds a BS in Management Information Systems and an MBA in Operations and Information Management, which enable him to take a systems approach to his work, understanding the intersection of business and technology to find IT solutions that address business challenges. As a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), he applies an advanced understanding of cybersecurity to protect against modern threats to the tools, services, and data that power mission-based organizations. Kevin is among the first to hold the Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (TLIS) credential, demonstrating proficiency in technology infrastructure, data security, digital citizenship, instructional technology, and leadership at independent schools.
