TLIS Objective 1.01

Determine technology professional development strategy for the school community

Screen Time Parent Education Night — Working Session | September 16, 2026 (1 hr. 56 min. recorded)

Challenges in independent schools are rarely isolated; they are interconnected patterns within a complex, living system. This powerful webinar, led by Dr. Marquis Scott, introduces school technology leaders to the transformative framework of Systems Thinking.

As schools explore AI, many tech leaders notice a tension between institutional priorities and classroom realities. This informal meet-up will be a chance to share candid experiences and ideas, not a formal presentation.

Start the series by connecting with peers who understand the unique opportunities and challenges of leading technology in independent schools. Share wins, identify priorities for the year ahead, and set the tone for a supportive, empowering network that lasts beyond the session.

Is your school’s tech skills approach aligned, intentional, and future-focused?

To meet the growing need for AI literacy, ATLIS has partnered with Ed3 DAO—a nonprofit that has already upskilled nearly 20,000 educators—to offer three self-paced online courses on Artificial Intelligence.
